Another funding today! Customer support startup- HelpshiftHelpshift_logo raised $23 Million in B funding round . The investors includes two new players Microsoft Ventures and Salesforce Ventures along with the existing investors- Intel Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, True Ventures & Visionnaire Ventures.

Plans to look ahead-

  • Expansion of teams in R&D department, sales & marketing.
  • To use machine learning more than ever for automation purposes.
  • To develop products towards mission-vision of autonomous customer support.

How does it work?

Helpshift came into action in 2012. The main motto was to engage in business support and customer satisfaction. They provide number of services such as in-app chat & FAQ, in-app campaigns, in-app surveys, CRM ticketing system.

“People want immediate help, wherever they are, especially when using mobile applications. This is the year we champion a new model of support, one that’s better for both consumers, as well as the companies serving them,” said Abhinash Tripathy, CEO of Helpshift.

Customer Base-

Zynga, VirginMedia, Microsoft, WesternUnion, Flipboard, Shyp, Luxe and WordPress are some of the customers of Helpshift. It has more than 1.3 billion users worldwide. It monthly serves 300 million customers on mobile only. The total amount raised is Rs. 240 Crores till now.


Annual investment in CRM is almost $325 billion just when you look out for outsourcing and other around services of the software. This is a very crowded sector with the software evaluated at $26.3 billion in 2015.
