SillyMonks– A Digital & Enteratinment, Hyderabad based startup raised INR 3 Crore today. The funds were offered from HNI Sreenivasa Reddy Musani, Chairman and Managing Director of Ektha Group. Musani has 18 years of experience in the sector of ecommerce and internet business. Startup said the raised amount will be used to bring new digital media properties and to elevate it’s market leadership.
“The funds raised will further secure and maximise ROI for our clients, by delivering new digitally immersive online experiences to a highly connected customer base and help create innovative original content,” said Sanjay Reddy, Founder and Managing Director of SillyMonks.
It was founded in September 2013 by Sanjay Reddy and Anil Pallala, is a YouTube Multi Channel Network partner. Various popular digital media properties like MonkStar Music on the channel which provides a platform to independent artists and has over 650+ YouTube Channels to with original content. It delivers approximately 100 Mn + views in a month and addresses a social audience of 16+ Mn followers across various social media platforms.
Revenues are generated from its clients through YouTube advantage share, retainership engagement including digital marketing & Mobile & Web designs. It registered in 2015 with revenues of INR 4.75 Cr and this year they expect 50% growth.

SillyMonks is soon going to launch six web series properties on it’s YouTube Channel “Silly Tube”. It is inspired from the grateful success of first Telugu web series MuddapappuAvakai produced by Pink Elephant Pictures under SillyMonks Network. Currently they are active in South India, Mumbai and Los Angeles.
