The king of Healthcare startup in India Practo, today confirmed a fresh round of funding in Series C for a USD 90 Million from its existing investors Matrix Partners and Sequoia Capital and few others. New investors chaired in this round were Tencent (who led this investment round), Sofina, Altimeter Capital, Google Capital, Yuri Milner.
This is the third round by Practo, taking the total amount of funding to USD 124 Million in three rounds.
Practo is a big name now with the presence in 35 cities in 3 countries, base of 200,000 healthcare professionals and 10,000 hospitals. Currently the team size is 1500 who helps them hosts a web traffic of 10M searches a month.
