After having raised a significant amount of funding from Flipkart recently, former housing CEO Rahul Yadav’soon-to-be-launched startup Intelligent Interfaces notched up another major success recently by notching up seed funding from Yuvraj Singh’s early investment firm YouWeCan Ventures.
Intelligent Interfaces is a startup which seeks to enhance governance by the use of technology. This concept is very much in keeping with the e-governance initiatives launched by many central and state governments. The startup is likely to function using a PPP model, which will allow governance aims to be met, while tapping the expertise of the private sector. Intelligent Interfaces is likely to focus on helping governments save money and other resources in expediting various kinds of rental agreements, in the beginning. It is likely to announce its first official tie-ups with government entities sometime in early 2016.
Rahul Yadav’s cofounder in this exciting new venture is Azeem Zainulbhai, another former Housing official. Intelligent Interfaces had also previously notched up funding from Micromax’s Rahul Sharma and PayTM’s Vijay Shekhar Sharma. Insiders have claimed that Rahul & Co. are targeting $15 million in funding, for now. The latest funding is also a significant shot in the arm for YouWeCan, which has invested in 5-6 startups throughout 2015. Some of these were beauty service Vyomo, Online healthcare provider Healthians and Cargo logistics startup Moovo.
