Bharti Airtel’s collaboration with Wynk continues to reap rich dividends. After having invested significantly in Wynk Music and Wynk Movies over the years, the telecom giant announced the launch of Wynk Games with over 2000 titles. The Android Wynk app is thus all set to give users tons of entertainment, revolutionizing the mobile gaming segment in a big way.
The venture hosts the products from several popular gaming houses. Among these are Enix, Zeptolab, Thumbstar, Tresensa, Bukypix and Nautilus Mobile. The app itself categorises its offerings into three types : Trending, Latest and Categories. The last allows users to browse through various genres. Cricket and mythological cartoon based games have been immensely popular, and Wynk Games takes a lot of effort to include as many offerings from such categories as possible. Chhota Bheem, Chhota Bhem and the Throne of Bali and Chhota Bheem Jungle Run are some of its most exciting offerings. Others include Run, Real Cricket and Real Steel.
Kartik Sheth, Wynk’s CEO, says that the venture’s biggest advantage is that a vast number of games can be enjoyed for zero cost, and with a simple airtel subscription. Full, free downloads are now allowed on the platform, with previous inhibitions of downloading having been done away with. The ad-free, subscription-based platform thus allows users to enjoy the hosted products to their heart’s content, through innovation.
