Aahaa Stores raises INR 6.7 Crores in pre-Series A funding round

Aahaa stores , uniting the Indirect purchasing platform is a well-defined word for the firm. The firm raised USD 1 mn (approx INR 6.7 crore) in pre-series A funding round. The round was led by YourNest Angel fund along with other investors.

Aahaa.in provides consumables for the company which are included in indirect purchases of the company and are up to 6-15% of the expenses of any firm. These may include stationery, cafeteria supplies, IT consumables, housekeeping supplies etc. The contract may vary from single year to multi-year association.

 “We also provide analytics to companies to monitor the usage of certain supplies and optimise this across branches,” said Rajaraman Sundaresan, co-founder of Aahaa.

The company is active since last 16 months and has been serving Wipro Technologies, Ashok Leyland, and other regional stores of Chennai. The company will use the funds for expansion purposes.”By bringing this to a common platform, we help the companies consolidate their orders and provide end-to-end fulfilment,” said Asokan Sattanathan, co-founder of Aahaa and former executive director of supply chain at Bharti Airtel Ltd.

The company is based in Chennai. The team currently consists of Rajaraman Sundaresan (CEO), Asokan Sattanathan (Founder), Shri Harish Kannan (COO).

The company has taken an initiative to benefit the industry owners by providing a common platform for the consumable resources which form an essential part of the expenses of an organisation. Moreover, the flexibility in contracts let the organisations choose wisely and opt for better services.
