FLYROBE

It is a Mumbai based startup launched by 3 IIT-Bombay grads, Shreya Mishra, Pranay Surana and Tushar Saxena. It is a rental startup which has grown from 300 orders in November 2015 to 1600 in February 2016. Presently, it has a curated collection of 300 western wear and 300 ethnic wear styles, and had achieved 16,000 following users on instagram.

SMYTTEN

A Gurgaon-based startup started by Indian School of Business (ISB) Swagat Sarangi and Siddharth Nangia.  The company has tied up with over 50 premium brands to offer free trial. They focus on major two pain points, discovery and try-before-you-buy.

ROPOSO

Started by Avinash Saxena with two other IIT Delhi alumni- Mayank Bhangadia, and Kaushal Shubhank, Roposo is a social network with 2 million users. It has a search engine that helps find you different categories of fashion like dress, show, or any accessory. It has user generated content and gets 100,000 posts every month. It also has many Bollywood celebrities, ready to give you some fashion advice.

VOONIK

The Bangalore-based startup is a fashion marketplace started by Sujayath Ali and Navaneetha Krishnan in 2013 and today boasts over 1.5 million products. The company focuses on personalization – for example, through the questions you answer in the quiz – making sure you don’t ever miss that flattering trial room.

WOOPLR

Again a Bangalore based startup founded by four ex-McAfee employees Arjun Zacharia, Praveen Rajaretnam, Soumen Sarkar, Ankit Sabharwal, lets you share your style statement. Even though the company is entirely set up by men, 90% of its users are women. Users post their pictures in various outfits and it is posted to others with details of where to buy — both offline and online.

LIMEROAD

The company was founded in 2012 by Suchi Mukherjee, Prashant Malik, and Ankush Mehra. It focuses on user generated looks which mix and match combinations of apparel and accessories. It facilitates its sellers by starting their own digital store in 60 seconds.

MELORRA

An online, Bangalore based company works with its ‘stylefeed’ section that helps you with your overall look and let you know which jewelry matches with your clothes. With trend-spotters based in the US, UK, and India, young urban women are likely to be spot on when it comes to paring modern-day attire with the right jewelry.
