HTC’s Upcoming Handset ‘Bolt’ Leaks on the Internet

After the success of HTC 10, HTC is expected to soon launch another device. A device rumored to be named as ‘bolt’ with HTC logo has surfaced on the internet. More interestingly, the leaks suggest the device will not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack. So after Apple, Motorola and LeEco, HTC can be the next smartphone manufacturer ditching the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The ‘bolt’ looks very identical to the HTC 10 and it sports a 5.5 inch Full HD flat display. According to the leaks, there’s an 18 MP rear camera with f/2.0 lens and it also has support for 4K video recording. In the front, there’s an 8 MP shooter for selfie addicts. Moreover,  the device comes with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The device is also expected to have support for MicroSD cards.

However, there’s still no information on the processor of the phone. We expect it will be running a mid-range Qualcomm processor and HTC could also sell MediaTek variants in some countries. Other than the processor, the device will feature HTC’s Sense UI on top of Android Nougat 7.0. We also came to know, that the device will not have dual speakers and instead will have a single speaker. To deliver sound through headphones HTC will be using USB Type C jack and as per the leaks, it should have HTC’s signature BoomSound.

The device is expected to be released sometime soon and the device will be sold globally. As of now, there’s no information on pricing of the device.
