Some of them are Doze Mode, Multi-Window etc. Back in October, Google announced that Pixel, Nexus, and Android One device will get the update by early December. But the dates were not clearly mentioned.
However, one of the carrier websites has information about the update rollout!
Vodafone Australia has mentioned about the Nougat update on its dedicated page. It mentions that its Nexus 6P will get the update from December 6. It also mentions that the update is hefty 650MB in size. This will roll out slowly to each and every user. Total 10,000 Nexus will receive the update randomly, for next 3 days. Rest of the users will receive in next 10 days. In all, each and every user will receive the update by December 10.
Recently, Google released Nougat 7.1 Developer Preview 2 for Nexus devices.”With Developer Preview 2, you can make sure your apps are ready for Android 7.1.1 and the consumers that will soon be running it on their devices,” said Google in a developer note.
Google will launch Nougat 7.1.1 to each and every Nexus and Pixel and its brother Pixel XL devices.
