Finally after few weeks of testing, Instagram introduces Instagram Live. Just a few minutes ago, Instagram uploaded a video showing its newest feature. From the video, it is clear that Instagram Live will be a part of Instagram Stories. Just like Facebook live, you can share your live video to your followers and also others around the globe. Similarly, people will be also able to like and reply to your live video. Moreover, there will be a top live video section in the explore part of Instagram.

Along with this Instagram is also bringing some updates to Instagram Direct. Users will be now able to share disappearing photos with someone or in a group chat. To do this just swipe right to access the camera and take a photo or video and now share it with your friends or groups. You will be also able to draw, add emoji’s on this and most importantly you will get a notification when someone takes a screenshot of your disappearing photo.

This new features will be coming to iOS and Android at first. You will be getting the new Instagram Direct in a few hours but the Instagram Live Video may take as much as a week to roll out. My iPhone has already got the update. Have you updated the App? If not try the links below.
