With the launch of new unlimited calling plans by airtel and Idea, the firm also joined the mighty war.

 

Vodafone launches unlimited calling plans!

One more partner for the war, Nice! What’s more nice is the plans launched by the telecom company!

The telecom firm launched two plans – prices depends on regions; 144 – 149 INR and 344-349 INR. These both provide unlimited calling. That means you can freely call to a local no. or STD no. without any limit at any point of time, without any “threshold”.

But there is also a surprise!

The telecom company is also giving 4G internet. Sorry, but no Unlimited 4G! With 144-149 INR recharge, a user will get around 300MB of 4G data, whereas, on recharge of 344-349 INR, you will get 1GB of 4G data. Both these plans will come with28 days of validity.  It seems you won’t be requiring a rate-cutter for slashing out the call rates, anymore.

The firm’s Chief Commercial Officer, Sandeep Kataria, cited, “With these unlimited calling plans, there will be no need to hold back. Our hundreds of million customers can remain confidently connected and enjoy talking to their loved ones worry free. Our 4G customers will further enjoy the additional benefit of up to free 1GB data along with unlimited calls.”

However, these plans are all same, just like what airtel and Idea are providing. Just to remind, airtel providing the same thing at 145INR and 345 INR whereas Idea is providing at 148 INR and 348 INR. Even Aircel is also providing unlimited calling, which is valid up to 3 months, at a price tag of 148 INR.

The competition might get further heated up, after Jio announces its future plans, just after Happy New Year offer gets over!
