Since its launch, Jio has been coming up with a variety of offers for its customers. The latest upcoming features are the launch of Jio are Jio fiber and Jio TV DTH. Although there is no official announcement about the launch of Jio fiber, the market is full of buzz about the same. These features were expected to launch near Diwali but the audience has to wait for some more time now.
According to the experts in the industry, these features will enhance the strength of the network over the other available networks. The Jio fiber is in the testing stage right now and the network is leaving space for making an awesome entry. Delhi, Mumbai, NCR, Ahmedabad, Surat, and Vadodara are some of the places in which the Jio fiber is being tested. It is expected Jio TV DTH will offer a 3 months free service just like the other Jio’s grand offers.
As per the present information, Jio TV DTH will have a total of 432 channels in the set-top box. Out of the total channels, 350 will be normal channels and the remaining 50 channels will be HD. Jio has extended partnership with Hotstar- one of the most popular videos streaming website. It is also expected to collaborate with Amazon Prime and Netflix. If everything goes as per the planning, Jio TV will be one big competition to Tata Sky, Dish TV, etc. The lying of the optical fiber links under the ground has further delayed Jio TV DTH launch.
Talking about the Jio fiber, Jio is all set to outshine the big names in the industry. The brand is planning to deliver 1 Gbps speed at a price of 4500 with its fiber to the home service or FTTH. Some plans were revealed by the brand but sooner it had to be kept on hold due to the technical glitches in their website.
