Paul Pogba: Sergio Ramos says door is open at Real Madrid


Sergio Ramos has known Paul Pogba because”one of the great players” and is hopeful the Manchester United midfielder will join him at Real Madrid later on.
Pogba along with his representative, Mino Raiola, both said he wanted to leave Old Trafford for a fresh challenge, however, United refused to market the France international.
United turned down an offer from Actual #27.6m and James Rodriguez to get Pogba, that returned into the Premier League club in Juventus for #89m at 2016.
“I think Real Madrid consistently has the door open for great players like him,” Ramos told the Daily Express.
Madrid spent over #270m the summer – that the outlay as head trainer Zinedine Zidane brought in Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Rodrygo, Ferland Mendy among many others – with a team.
Pogba has played four of United’s Premier League matches this season and captain Ramos considers the 26-year-old would bring balance to any side.
“For me, Pogba is among the great players,” Ramos said.
“He’s different and he has shown his value at Juventus and Manchester United.
“I think he brings balance to a team. He’s got a fantastic offensive effect and he has this awesome physique.”
