.Yesterday, we saw the Galaxy Note 8 leaks and today, another upcoming device has leaked on the Internet. This time it is the Nokia 2. The device has recently cleared the FCC certification. And from there we got the detailed specifications along with the photos of the device.
The leaked images clearly show the front and the back of the upcoming smartphone. As far as the looks are concerned the device looks very similar to Nokia’s recent set of devices Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and 6. The look of the device is also quite similar to the upcoming Nokia 8. However, the Nokia branding is missing. The camera module of device resembles other Nokia devices. It sits on the top rear side and has a LED flash below it. There’s also a secondary camera present in the front and top-left side of the device. However, there’s no front flash available and that makes us believe that the Nokia 2 will be an entry level smartphone.

According to the rumors, the device should sport a 5-inch display. However, some sources also say that it could be a 4.7-inch display and not the 5-inch one. Speaking about the processor the device will include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 212 chipset. Along with it, there will be 1 GB of RAM which seems pretty low by today’s standard. There are no details available on the battery capacity and camera details yet. But considering it as a basic entry level smartphone there can’t be many expectations.
We understand that the specs of the phone are not impressive at all. However, the device will run Android Nougat 7.1.1 and will be getting regular updates as well. Till now, there are no words on availability and pricing of the device but more information will be on the way when Nokia officially releases the device. There are also speculations that the device will be launching along with Nokia’s (or HMD’s) first flagship device Nokia 8.
