After a ground-breaking launch of Galaxy C7 Pro last year, Samsung finally launches Galaxy C5 Pro in the Chinese market. The price tag of the device is CNY 2,499 or ₹ 24,100. The device is up for pre-orders and will start shipping from March 16. The device will be available in the following colors – Lake Blue, Maple Leaf, and Powder Rose color variants.
Samsung launches Galaxy C5 Pro in China to be launched in India by March 21
The Galaxy C5 Pro is just like C7 Pro, but rather, it’s a smaller variant of it. It features a metal unibody, has a camera bulge at the back and has the fingerprint scanner embedded in the home key. The speaker, USB port, and 3.5mm jack are situated at the bottom of the phone. The volume rockers are placed on the left side and power key on the right side.
As far as specifications are concerned, the device has almost same specs as that of C7 Pro. But here comes the difference of screen size. C5 Pro comes with a 5.2-inch FHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920p. It has a heart of Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core Cortex A53 processor at 2.2GHz clock speed.
The devices pack a 4GB RAM alongside 64GB of onboard storage & is expandable upto 256GB. It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.
The rear camera has a 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture, same goes with the front camera.It also has a 2600mAh battery that claims to last up to 296 hours of standby time. In terms of connectivity, we have Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, NFC, and 4G LTE support.
In terms of sensors, the phone includes Gyroscope, RGB Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Magnetometer & a fingerprint sensor.
