Smytten gets angel invested from Rajan Anandan, VP of Google (SE Asia)

 

Vice-president, Google (Southeast Asia & India), Mr. Rajan Anandan stood out as an angel investor for Smytten, a Premium services and products discovery and purchase platform. The amount raised is undisclosed, but the new features for the business partners is said to bring them together & work hand in hand as affiliates in marketing campaigns and customer analytics for the availability of better services. Company is planning to launch new services for uplifting fine dining experience, wine tasting for Delhi and Mumbai people.

Cofounder, Swagat Sarangi stated, “Majority of our sales are generated through wellness and beauty services and we will expand those to Bangalore and Hyderabad.”

Smytten has brought together over 80+ brands without the inclusion of apparel and fashion categories in the addition. Though margins vary from 25-40% with services such as analytics for new products, consumer surveys and improvement feedback for the companies.  Rimpal Chawla, former MD, Credit Suisse and Anuj Srivastava, founder of Livspace seed funded Smytten for INR 1.2 Crore.
