OnePlus is all set to launch a new smartphone to the customers. The device is OnePlus 3T, which is an upgraded version of OnePlus 3. The current flagship runs on Snapdragon 820 clocked at 2.15Ghz.

 

The Rumor of OnePlus 3T:

The rumors suggest that the new device will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 clocked at 2.4GHz. The SoC was launched just after the launch of OnePlus 3.

It is also rumored that the device will have Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. All other specifications will be as same as the current flagship.

Recently, a new device modeled as A3010 has been registered by China Compulsory Certificate, a mandatory certification test required for any product to be sold in the Chinese market.The expected launch of the new device was also confirmed by netizens who spotted a OnePlus designer, posting on Chinese social networking website Weibo.

The OnePlus 3 has a 5 inch 1080p AMOLED display. It runs on the Android Marshmallow v6.0.1 with the Oxygen OS layered on top. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC under-the-hood and is also equipped with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There is also a 16MP rear camera with OIS, PDAF, and an 8MP front camera.  Additionally, the device includes a front fingerprint sensor, Metal Unibody design, Dual SIM 4G, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, NFC, USB Type C and a Notification LED. The device is powered by a massive 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge support  aka Dash Charge.

Over than that, it is rumored that the firm is done with AMOLED displays, after the firm founder tweeted for the same. Carl Pei tweeted that the company will be using OLED displays instead of AMOLED displays “for the foreseeable future.” As a matter of fact, OLED displays are quite popular amongst the mobile OEM, as the display consumes less power than LED panels and has better contrast level than LED.
