Today in a press launch BlackBerry announced DTEK60, the successor of DTEK50. Earlier this year BlackBerry announced they won’t be making any new phones on their own. And making it correct, they also told, the new DTEK60 devices will be made by TCL. For those who don’t know, TCL is a Chinese company and they are also behind the Alcatel’s device lineup.
Now coming to the device, DTEK60 comes with some impressive specs and features. In brief, it comes with a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 3000mAh battery, and 21-Megapixel rear camera. Other than all these, it also has added security features like the DTEK by BlackBerry app that allows users to control their privacy on their phone. Moreover, the company says there is also best in class security patching to make the device more secured.
DTEK60 has a fingerprint sensor, better camera with 4K video support, and a high-density display over the DTEK50. However, it also costs more than the DTEK50. In the USA the DTEK60 will cost $499. Below are the specifications of the newest BlackBerry device.
