Latest news about the expansion of services
On-demand car servicing startups continue to expand their range of services vigorously. Bengaluru-based mobile car wash and detailing service provider startup Car Zippi recently launched a 24×7 on-demand car breakdown service. Founded by Suman Howlader in August 2015, the CarZippi motto is to enable the user to “zip through the madness of the car service queue”.
What is CarZippi?
The startup currently offers comprehensive on-demand, doorstep car care services within a 30 km radius of the city. The new, 24×7 service will encompass taxi services, medical info assistance, on-site minor assistance and related emergency services. It is expected that such services will greatly aid commuters in a busy city like Bengaluru. CarZippi thus seeks to make all pain and frustration associated with sudden breakdown a thing of the past.
The startup is an ISO 9001-2008 certified organization, and lays great emphasis on transparency of operations. This allows customers to clearly plan out their expenditures. After all, no one wants to sign up for CarZippi’s breakdown services, only to realize that they lack enough cash to pay the enterprise for it!!! The price of these services range from Rs.450 to Rs. 5,450.
Plans and prospects
Suman, an alumnus of Bangalore University, marked his entrepreneurial debut with Foiwe Info Global Solutions. It was a content moderation and IT services company set up in 2010. Suman has designed CarZippi to provide both B2B and B2C services. The enterprise’s core team currently consists of 20 superbly trained and dedicated personnel, and over 600customers have already been serviced. Plans are afoot to expand the services to Chennai, Pune and Mumbai next year. The use of an excellent app-based platform is likely to give a further boost, and the startup stands a good chance of achieving its objective of a Rs.14 crore turnover in 2016-17. Overall, this highly disruptive concept looks set to have a bright future.
