Samsung Announces New 2016 Galaxy On 7 with Fingerprint Scanner

    Today in a launch event held in China Samsung announced the 2016 version of their Galaxy On 7. The new phone sports a lot changes from its predecessor. While you look at the phone for the first time, you will notice the change. The device now sports a full metal unibody design. Also, the design is now changed a lot.

    To start with, the device has now got a 1080p 5.5-inch display over the last years 720p. Moreover as said earlier the device is now has a full metal unibody design and it is just 8mm thick. The weight of the device is now 147 grams.

    Coming under the hood, the new On7 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC. It is clocked at 2 GHz and it saves more power as it is constructed on 14nm manufacturing process. To handle some mid to heavy games Adreno 506 GPU is coupled with the device. Over last years On7 the news On7 has an edge as it has got internal storage of 32 GB and 3 GB RAM. Besides, the memory can be expanded up to 256 GB with the help of an SD card.

    Other than all these it has got a fingerprint scanner which is built into the home button. The fingerprint scanner can be used with other third-party apps and online logins. To cut price aspects Samsung has put a hybrid sim slot into the phone. Well, here, you can either insert two sim cards or you can insert a Micro SD card using the second slot. Connectivity options like Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi all are available with the phone. It is worth noting that the phone supports a lot of 4G bands along with VoLTE.

    The 2016 Samsung Galaxy On7 features a 13 MP rear camera with a LED flash. The front camera is centered for the selfieholics and  it has a 8 MP sensor. The device can also record video at 30 FPS on FHD. To power up the smartphone Samsung has added a 3300 mAh battery which also supports fast charging. The phone is available to buy in China for 1599 Yuan which is almost Rupees 16000. What do you think of the device?
