On Friday, Honor launched its new smartphone, Magic. The device will be available at a price tag of CNY 3,999. The phone features WiseScreen sensor and FaceCode recognition. However, the firm didn’t mention anything about the global availability.

This device will come with WiseScreen sensor and FaceCode recognition. WiseScreen will allow the user to unlock the device with just a look. When the phone is placed down, the screen locks automatically. The FaceCode will show the notifications only when it detects that the viewer is the user itself, not someone else.
However, a pre-registered face is required for FaceCode to work.
Coming down to specifications, the phone sports a 5-inch QHD AMOLED 3D curved display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. The device will run on company’s own processor Kirin 950. This is an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with 4GB RAM.
The device features 64GB od internal storage, however, expansion isn’t possible. It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Honor UI running on the top.
Coming to the battery, it is a smaller 2900mAh battery and is also with fast charging. According to the company, the battery will reach 70% within 20 minutes of charging.
Coming to the camera module, the devices features 12-megapixel dual-rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash and f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapxel camera at the front. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS/ A-GPS.
