HTC launches Vive Studios for VR games development

    HTC’s  virtual reality hardware are one of a kind in the current market. Now, the firm has decided to give its full effort to the virtual reality development.

    For this purpose, the firm launched Vive Studios, which helps in VR-based game developments. Along with Vive, the company also launched its first VR-based game “Arcade Saga.”

    With Vive launch, the company also launched Arcade Saga, the first VR title from the firm. Developed on 2 Bear Studio of the same firm, is the collection of three games. These three games make a perfect use of Vive’s room-scale virtual reality.

    According to Vive Studio division’s head Joel Breton, Vive Studio’s in-house content  will be used for increasing the product demand in the coming time.

    Coming to the game, it is already available For HTC Vive on Steam for $30. Also, in future, the game will become public on Vivastore in China, company’s own VR app store.

    According to VentureBeat, the Vive Studio will not only be used for creating VR games but also contents for “education, cinematic, design, social, real-estate and sports as well as tools and applications that can revolutionize areas such as media, retail, health care, and location-based entertainment centers and arcades.”
