Alcatel today has announced Alcatel Idol 4s with Windows 10 Mobile. The device was in the news for a past few days for being leaked on the internet and finally the device is now official. To compete with today’s standards it has quite good specs and Alcatel likes to call it the ‘superphone’. Identically the device runs Microsoft’s Windows 10 Mobile OS and will be up for sale from November 10th for $469.99.

The device comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 Quad core CPU, a 5.5-inch 1080p display and 4 GB of RAM. For storage, it offers 64 internal capacity and support for MicroSD card. Also, there’s a 21 MP rear camera with Sony’s IMX230 sensor and a 8 MP front camera. To add more, there’s a 3000 mAh battery. For those concerned about security there’s a fingerprint scanner on the back with support for Windows Hello. Furthermore, the most exciting part, the device comes with support for Microsoft’s Continuum. For those unknown, with Continuum you can run Windows 10 PC apps on an external display.

The Idol 4s also comes with a free bundle which includes VR goggles, free 45 days trial of Hulu Plus and an additional 30 days trail for Groove Music. To add more there will be a free copy of Windows 10 Mobile game Halo: Spartan Assault. The Idol 4s is an exciting flagship device for most of the Windows Phone users. As mentioned earlier the device will be selling for $470 and will be exclusive to T-Mobile. Although there’s no word of the device releasing in any country other than the USA but we expect this device may also come to Europe by the holiday season.
