Samsung may add “Wake on Voice” to its rumored Chromebook Pro!

Chromebooks already support “OK Google” feature out of the box. Now with such innovations, Chromebook will wake from deep slumber using a simple voice command.

The reports say that addition of “Wake on Call” will also help in integration of Google Assistant.

Google is still deciding to expand its Assistant feature to the numerous number of devices, including laptops . Chromebooks are ideal for this functionality. However, Google Assistant comes preinstalled with Pixel series.

It may also be possible that Google will add just “Wake on Voice” to the Chromebooks.

As previous leaks suggest, the Chromebook Pro will come with a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 1600×2400 pixels. It will feature a 360-degree-hinge and will be powered by a 2GHz hexacore processor under the hood and will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. It is expected to be 13.9mm thick and weigh 1.08kg. The battery life on Chromebook Pro is expected to last up to 10 hours. Coming down to connectivity options, the laptop will have two USB type-C ports, headphone jack, and an SD card slot. It will also come with a stylus that will be kept inside the slot present on the Chromebook itself.
