Late last year Netflix introduced offline viewing for iOS and Android. And almost after three months Netflix today has finally launched the feature on Windows. As you can guess from the name, Offline viewing is basically downloading the content on your device. You can download movies and TV shows on Netflix and watch them later  even when you don’t have internet. This feature can specially come handy if you travel a lot.

Today, after a long wait Windows users are getting the feature. Netflix has rolled out an update which will include a new option called ‘Download & Go’. It is a small download button available for almost all TV shows and movies. Clicking on the button will start downloading the movie or TV show on your Windows 10 device.  Once the download is complete you will be able to watch the content from ‘My Downloads’ section.

It is worth noting that Netflix has certain movies and TV shows which are not yet available for downloading. For example the Iron Man 3 is not available for download which is pretty disappointing. However, there’s an ‘Available for Download’ option available in the hamburger menu. From here you can find all of the movies, TV shows and documentaries which you can download on your Windows 10 device. Netflix app is available on both Windows 10 mobile and Windows 10 for PC. Feel free to download or update the app from the link below.
