    Today, BenQ launched its Zowie XL2540 Gaming Monitor for pro gamers. One of the interesting facts is that this monitor has a native 240Hz refresh rate.     Other than 240Hz refresh rate, the Zowie XL2540 has a Shield feature which helps to adjust according to the environment.

    During the press release, the company stated, “This monitor’s adjustable angle and removable design allows Shield to adopt various environments according to preference.” It also has a feature named Black  eQualizer. This feature allows the monitor to visualize the dark scenes of the games without hampering the bright areas, also stated the company.

    This gaming monitor is 7.5kg in weight. It sports a 24.5-inch TN display with an FHD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution. It has 400 nits of brightness and also features 1ms of response time, also sporting 1 DVI-DL port, 2 HDMI ports, 1 DP1.2 port.It also has a headphone jack and a microphone jack.

    Other than that, the monitor comes with 20 levels of color vibrancy settings in order to allow users with various options for different types of games. According to the company, the LCD frame of the monitor has been designed to reduce the screen reflection.

    At this price rate, they should have provided at least WUXGA or 2K resolution. This would have proved better visual performance.
