The startup recently succeeded in raising an undisclosed amount of funding from President of Fortis Healthcare, Daljit Singh, Dr. Pramath Raj Sinha (Founder, ISB) and BVR Mohan Reddy, the Chairman of NASSCOM and Director on the Board of Hyderabad Angels. Some other angel investors also participated.
What is Healers at Home?
Founded by Kshitij Garg, the startup currently focuses on Physiotherapy and Yoga services. The on-demand services will ensure the dispatching of trained yoga practitioners and physiotherapists to homes, greatly minimizing the discomfort and inconvenience typically associated with hiring physios.
Home visits can be easily scheduled on the website’s opening page itself, after providing the name, mobile number and email id of the user in question.
Healthcare experts will then turn up at the user’s home, at his preferred time. Healers at Home also prides itself on its highly affordable services, which is a big bonus at a time when healthcare costs are going up exponentially.
