HP today announced that they are refreshing the specs and designs of the Probook 400 series notebooks. The notebooks now feature Intel’s 7th ‘Kaby Lake’ processors and can have up to 16 hours of battery life. The new notebooks are thinner and have slim line wedged design. New color styling called Asteroid Silver makes fingerprints virtually invisible. Moreover, there’s an improved click pad with optimized easy to use touch tone. As these are business class notebooks drop, shock, vibration, dust and temperature tests are passed by these.
Key features of HP Probook 400 series:
- NVIDIA® GeForce® 930MX graphics technology for faster performance for applications like photo and video editing. It also provides an overall speed boost by offloading graphics processing and memory from the CPU – freeing up system resources.
- Full HD (FHD) displays (optional) for better visuals with sharper images and text, bringing documents and web pages to life.
- USB-C™ ports for linking, syncing and charging phones, accessing a true docking experience with the HP Elite USB-C dock and connecting with emerging USB-C peripherals.
- Enterprise-class security with root-level protection through HP BIOSphere; data safeguarding from an embedded Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 security chip; and identity protection through an optional biometric fingerprint reader.
- HP Audio Boost technology to help improve voice quality by enhancing speaker loudness and bass levels. HP is introducing bi-directional noise suppression capabilities to its ProBook 400 family to significantly reduce background distractions on both ends of the line.
